My test client of choice is mplayer. (SVN r3418)<br>

I checked whether the runtime linker uses the correct libs:<br>

/usr/local/bin/mplayer<br>
libjack.so.0 => /usr/local/lib/libjack.so.0 (0xb718a000)<br>
