in any case, please DO NOT reply to spam, unless you want them to know
your email is active, and of course do not reply to the list :-D

btw: this new bugbear worm seems to be very clever in forging sender and
mail bodies. don't be surprised if one of your list postings surfaces
elsewhere with a slighly bogus sender and a virus attached. and don't
raise hell on the lists :)
for now, i have bugbear posts trapped in the filters, but that thing
seems to be evolving like linux audio, so please forgive if some make it
through to the lists.
