  SDL 1.2.5 has been released!
Here are some of the biggest changes:

  * Added initial support for Dreamcast

SDL-DC also supports sound according to http://sdl-dc.sourceforge.net/
This in fact means, that you could develop SDL apps on Linux and run
it on your Dreamcast then. As the Dreamcast has a full blown Free
Software Developement kit available (http://cadcdev.sourceforge.net/)
and an open boot protocol (a bit hacked, but it works) and as the
Dreamcast is dirt cheap nowadays, I think, the DC is a viable platform
for doing console development.

ciao
