[linux-audio-user] where to begin or where's the beginning begin?

Hi
I seemed to jump straight in with Linux.
I was using Sonar and kept getting problems would run ok sort of.
Then I found the planet stuff and started using that.

I then setup a Berinhger DDX3216 and bought a RME Hammerfall card, all 
of Ebay.
Talk about the deep end!!

I have eventually got it all working, sort of, I got help from Fervent 
software and it really helps to see the stuff running and then play with it.
  I haven't even looked at MIDI yet as I don t have a way to get it into 
my pc's but I will have to get to grips with this and these mailing lists
are your on line support (Try Sonar Support! )
