No, never. That is an onboard i810.

I'm still *very* interrested in help in getting the system more stable 
as I had to do a few tricks to make the system glitch free. Here's what 
I did to make it bearable for now:

1) added the "magic" option nrpacks=1 to my /etc/init.d/alsa. this made 
the system stable
2) running jackd with "-R -dalsa -dhw:1 -r44100 -p128 -n3 -P, so only 
playback (which is ok for now, I'm mostly running softsynths live) and a 
latency of 8.7 ms (according to qjackctl) which is ok too. this was the 
best setting I could come up with...
3) there were occational glitches (not xruns) in the sound under gnome, 
so I went back to my beloved openbox (don't know why I left it in the 
first place)
