Well, it's not about doing "everything" automatically.
If you simply want to make a plugin with a quick GUI you don't want to 
always program the communication over shared memory or whatever ... so a 
class would be nice which already has this functionality (of course only 
if you need it).
Programming plugins should be as easy as possible (as it already is e.g. 
with lv2-c++-tools).

However, it's just an idea ...
