[LAU] A webserver with on-the-fly format conversion?

Hi -

I know that MediaTomb at least can handle the transcoding that you
describe <http://mediatomb.cc/pages/transcoding>. It's primarily a
UPnP server rather than HTTP but it does have a HTTP interface and if
I remember right, you can listen over HTTP.
