[LAU] Decent but not necessarily pro quality USB audio for laptop?

I tried that. Apparently the hardware fills a buffer and is supposed to 
notify the system the buffer is ready - but the system either never gets 
the notification or never responds to it. The last time I tried that was 
a good while ago, though.
