While we're on the subject - anyone know a good book or place to go
online for hand drum patterns? I have a djembek (brass bodied hand drum
with a head about 25 cm in diameter) which I want to learn to play
properly. I bought "The Drummer's Complete Vocabulary", which is good as
far as I can see but really meant for drum kits, so I'm having to adapt
the patterns. I'd like something meant specifically for this kind of
drum, or maybe for the bigger wooden djembes that are quite common.
