[LAU] Amsterdam stay

Hello everyone!
   I will probably travel to Amsterdam at the end of June (26-28) to meet a 
friend, whom I know through music. Unfortunately I can't stay, where he will 
be since, it's a small private place. So can anyone suggest a cheap hostel or 
something like that or put me up? My friend will be somewhere near the 
Grensstraat exit of wilbautstraat station, if that's any help. but I think 
anything not too far from that area, which is close to another station will 
do.
