There was a post by Andrew Morton a while back that said not to use Reiser with 2.6. It's fine with 2.4 (what I use in fact). It may be fixed with 2.6 but I haven't heard anything new. I use XFS on all of my 2.6 systems (FC3) and it is indeed *much* faster than ext3. Jan
