modular creation as VST... synthedit was a successor of tons of freebee<br>
vst plugins for windows -lot of crap but also some pearls.<br>

So an graphical environment for visual sound design, like galan<br>
or pd with the option "save as lv2" maybe can be a successor for lv2 on<br>
linux. lv2 standalone is senseless, because it shall be a musical/fx<br>
