OK, well I've tried the stock kernel last night, and I have xruns
galore. should I now go build the kernel from aur?

And yes, I forgot to mention BFS. Actually I fell in love with it, but have noticed some bootup problems with my HSDPA modem so I'm back on stock. ArchAudio has a kernel26daw for BFS, and also an ice kernel adaptation is in the works (buildscripts half-complete but available in the experimental dir).
