Well, the devil is _always_ in the details and since the details come<br>
from the MB manufacturer that's where folks have to look.<br>

For my Rampage II Extreme it only lists the i7 as compatible. (Core i7<br>
(LGA1366))<br>

The DH55HC does list all three of the current Intel core designs as<br>
compatible, but it's a different i7<br>

(Core i7 / i5 / i3 / Pentium (LGA1156))<br>
