I actually went back and forth over the issue with Falktx on irc and got it to where audio would work but it's extremely choppy when it plays.<br><br>After trying 'every trick in the book' and also remembering that I had the exact same problem with kdenlive (choppy audio) in 8.04 I've come to the conclusion that there's an issue with this onboard sound card.<br>

No, not so tall anymore. KDEnlive 0.7.8 runs much better than its 0.6-series for me. Not entirely flawless but perfectly usable for productive work.<div class="im"><br>

I also recommend Open Movie Editor if you want perfect Jack-integration for a videoapp. Anyway, I would prefer to use KDEnlive for film-editing, export a video, do the Audiostuff in Ardour synced to xjadeo playing that video or synced to OME playing it.<br>
