My main computer at this point is a netbook, an ASUS EEEPC, 1000HE. It does pretty well, although I think the IRQ setup is less than optimal, since the onboard soundcard shares IRQ with the video board....speaking of which, are such things now configurable in a modern kernel, or are we stuck with hardware arrangements, however unfortunate, on such machines?<br>
<br>For more mission-critical RT work, etc., I use an outboard sound interface, a Lexicon Lambda, which works well, and the USB port performance and IRQ, etc. are solid, and conflict-free....<div><br></div><div>AKJ<br><div>
