It doesn't seem clear if this is the case for any connection that relies on Class Compliant mode. Although there is this not on the page relating to the mode exclusively:<BR>"Mac OS X supports USB Audio 2.0, even with more than 2 channels. Currently, the UCX offers 2-channel and 8-channel modes.
