Mammut will FFT your sound in one single gigantic analysis (no windows).
These spectral data, where the development in time is incorporated in
mysterious ways, may then be transformed by different algorithms prior to
resynthesis. An interesting aspect of Mammut is its completely
non-intuitive sound transformation approach.
Changes 0.59 -> 0.61:
-Play: Fix changing play position in realtime not always working.
-GUI: Fix printing Ø in the about box.
-GUI: Turn off startup sound by default.
-GUI: Save prefs immediately, not when exiting program.
-GUI: Make main window resizable.
-DSP: Avoid denormals. (Just in case. Don't know if it was a problem).
-Build: Build with -mfpmath=sse -msse2 -Wextra -Werror -Wall, and fix
various potential bugs found by newer compilers and -Wextra.
-GUI: Set moving camera to true by default
-Build: Fix install instructions
-Build: Upgraded Juce to 5.3.2
-Build: Varoius build fixes from GeorgeNs.
-Fixed a couple of ugly bugs in the progress bar code.
jack_capture is a program for recording soundfiles with jack.
The default operation of the program is executed by writing "jack_capture"
in the terminal without any extra command line options:
...which will record what you hear in your loudspeakers
into a stereo wav file. But it has lots of other features as well.
