Ah, not if you think it's patchable and go through changing a couple of 
floats to fftw_reals (I think that's what they were).  

Anyway, yeah rebuilding FFTW with --enable-float did the trick.  I've 
already sent myself mad with the results.  I should RTFM more closely 
in future..
