Well I didn't claim it to be low latency, as I run it at 2048 (it can go lower
at a pinch, but I don't need it to at the moment) - but it's on a PIII 1 gig
thinkpad, intel810 soundcard, stock kernel from mandrake 8.2 (2.4.18?).
