Pd wont run with that setting:

kjetism at hensten ~ $ pd -audiobuf 29 -blocksize 1024

Sample width set to 4 bytes

snd_pcm_start: Broken pipe
audio I/O stuck... closing audio


Cant get it to start with a blocksize higher than 128.
