Thanks for the reply,

Initially I could able to tweak the parameters like MAX_VOICES and get
timidity working on Simputer (You might have heard about it). But when I
tried to go through the actual code and modify it for my need I felt the
same way you mentioned :(

Anyway I'll try to look into the code at leasure and mail about any
development.
