In America you can patent just about any old obvious idea. In Australia
one guy even succeded in getting patent pending on the invention of the
wheel. The question is: Will it hold up in court? And, can you afford to
ask the question at all?

These days, unfortunately, patents only means that the patent holder is
willing to spend more money on better lawyers for a longer time than you
could ever dream of ...
