Velocity is the first goal. Other controls, position with several mikes on a 
single pad, analysing the frequency, using different materials, etc... may come 
in a second step.

The first step consists in achieving velocity and trigger precision (avoiding 
conflicts due to very close hits, crosstalking, etc...).
