Lee, Thanks for your suggestion. The output I posted to the last email
was done with:
alsa-driver-1.0.9b
alsa-lib-1.0.9
alsa-utils-1.0.9a
Does the development release, 1.0.10rc1, correct those Unknowns? Also,
any info you can provide regarding my interpretation of the following is
greatly appreciated, particularaly my interpretation of the numbers in
/proc/asound/devices.
Is subdevice: [card- device]: correct? Basically, I want capture the
output of the wavetable synth (which I believe can only be captured on
the output side of the 8010 FX) with ecasound. So, would I use hw0,3,19?
hw0,2,18? Something like that?
 4: [0- 0]: hardware dependent
 8: [0- 0]: raw midi
19: [0- 3]: digital audio playback This is digital mixer output?
18: [0- 2]: digital audio playback This is Synth or FX output?
26: [0- 2]: digital audio capture FX capture?
25: [0- 1]: digital audio capture Device 1?
16: [0- 0]: digital audio playback Is this the codec playback?
24: [0- 0]: digital audio capture Is this the codec capture?
