Great to hear that you are going to maintain it. When you start looking
into it, could you also have a look at the LASH and JACK MIDI patches
for it? It would be very nice to have those in the official releases.

The JACK MIDI patch is here (it adds a JACK MIDI input port that can be
used at the same time as the ALSA-seq port):

Dave Robillard's LASH patch is here:

I think both applied to 0.5.1 and the last CVS version I tested.
