I don't know - you failed to mention that you were using plug:jack.
Probably no one ever tested this configuration.
(I don't think plug:jack is well tested in general. The JACK API is
simpler than ALSA so it's easier for apps to just support JACK.)
You did mention that in your bug report I hope?
Does Sweep really have no JACK support?
