Is this patented? I could not find.

I don't know details of them, but I come up
with the idea some years ago --- as to exists as
an open source, free Linux software, naturally.

I even mailed to Blaupunkt and asked if it is ok to
send them suggestions. Because I received no reply,
I did not send anything to them about my invention.
