Well, if you're going to steal code from things and are worried about  
not having an FPU, how about stealing it from Tremor (the integer- 
only decoder)? Check out the xiph site... http://www.xiph.org/vorbis/  
I think.

I'll send this to the list too if you think people will be  
interested ;) There's even a low memory branch. It's in C, but if you  
rename all the files to .java it should just work.
