[LAD] basic in-game audio synthesis api?

Yeah I like the LADSPA idea now my confusion's cleared. I'm thinking it
will be the solution and should work with SDL_mixer. Choosing a popular
plugin set like SWH (included in Debian stable) seems like a safe bet
and I'll be able to get a lot out of it.
