i can confirm this is irritating. the msgs window opens up and a
pop-up from the systray pops up. i close the msgs window. a few
seconds it tries again. definitely we need a "don't retry on fail"
option, or better yet, a "retry on fail" option. and the msgs window
can't be closed when the setup window is open.
