The only plugins that still have experimental status in current git are 
fluidsynth and wavetable. For good reasons, too. The fluidsynth wrapper 
plugin is not that stable or useful really, comparing to - say - 
fluidsynth-dssi. The wavetable synth has lots of unimplemented 
functionality, and lacks good wavetables too - basically, work in 
progress, early stage.
