Hi, thanks for this driver.

I tried to test it with my behringer ufx1604, but I am not sure if I do it
correctly.

My setup is Ubuntu, 13.10 with the 3.11.8-031108-generic kernel

I followed your instruction to install the driver and it seems to be loaded
properly (snd-bebop)

The card appears to be initialized:
daniel at daniel-laptop:~/projekty/_moje/github$ cat /proc/asound/cards
 0 [UFX1604 ]: BeBoB - UFX1604
                      BEHRINGER UFX1604 (id:1, rev:0), GUID 001564000000c7ca
at fw1.0, S400

but there are no controls in alsamixer, nor in pavucontrol.

I am not sure if I should do something else (not that experienced with linux
audio).

I tested both fw and usb modes of the card.
a) FW (I guess this is what this driver is for) - no controls in alsamixer
nor pavucontrol

b) USB - no controls in alsamixer, but the devices appears for playing in
pavucontrol (not capture) - this is how it used to be anyway, before trying
this driver.

thanks!
dan
