It goes on to say

"Of Microsoft's seven business units, four posted an operating loss in 
the quarter. Microsofts' home and entertainment division, which sells 
the Xbox game console, posted a loss of $177 million from sales of $505 
million, according to the filing."

Selling $505 million of anything isn't doing too badly by my count, esp 
when you have $2.98 billion in reserve to cover the deficit.
