Steve,

	I got it.  I had to use the --enable-shared option on the fftw build. 
Apparently the swh plugins wouldn't link with the static libraries.  I'm
going to change my instructions
(http://myweb.cableone.net/eviltwin69/ALSA_JACK_ARDOUR.html) to reflect
this unless you have another fix.
