Lee, thanks for the summary. I'll definitely give it a spin and report
any problems to LKML.

Anyone knows whether mingo at redhat is taking a vacation or something? The
voluntary-preempt patch is for 2.6.8-rc2, and it's been several days now
since rc3 is out. In fact his rc2 patch has the same date as the
official rc3 kernel. :-/
