A month ago Pieter Palmers <ppalmers at esat.kuleuven.ac.be> has sent a mail with
details about the background of that project to this mailing list. I only
noticed that now.

Maybe it makes sense to make that known to other manufacturers using the
BridgeCo chip and ask them to support that project?
