Hi, If I had a pci card that supports MIDI (and is working well under Linux) and a USB midi keyboard, I would connect the keyboard's MIDI out to the pci card's MIDI in, no need to add an extra device to the computer. (Just an ac adapter to the midi keyboard) Cheers, Andres
