[linux-audio-user] Which kernel for low latency?

That's interesting. My old pII is slated to become my web/mail/icecast 
server soon. I've been toying with the idea of trying 2.6.x on it for 
that. Your comments move me closer to actually doing it.

On another note ... Do you think it's possible for the 2.6.x kernel to 
_sound_ better? Maybe I'm just being silly, or maybe it's because the 
noisy PII box is turned off at the momemnt, but, things definitely seem 
to sound better coming from my new box with the new kernel. Maybe it's 
just all in my head. :)
