This is interesting... What would be a solution for a laptop where
PCMCIA is not available?

I'm tempted to purchase a 12" G4 Powerbook soon, mainly for portable
recording, but the only way to get audio into the thing would be via USB
or FireWire.

I'm looking to use a Jack/Alsa, Ardour, Muse, Fluidsynth setup in
Linux. 2 channels is fine, but 4/6/8 would be nice.

Does anybody know of a solution to this?

Dan
