After I had laid down most of the song, I sat back and thought about
how I'd want the stutters to sound.  Once I figured it out, I recorded
a track with me playing some sustained chords at the proper pitches to
fit what I was trying to do.  I then sliced them up into invidual
pieces, and after that it was cut, paste, and patience.  Be warned,
ardour gets a little sketchy when you start doing this (I need to
submit a bug report, I beat ardour around like a redheaded step child
while making this).

In the future, I'm going to do that stuff via Specimen.  It would
have been mucho easier.
