On Fedora 2 (slightly PlanetCCRMA-ized) it fails in a different way.

Which is kinda weird, because on this system i compiled all kinds of X11
apps, including Qt/KDE apps (such as Rosegarden) and everything was
fine.

Yes, i do have the X11 devel libs installed, otherwise those said X11
apps could not have been compiled.
