Its a surround encoding format, but its quite an old one, its 4.1 ish. Its
used on bradcast TV and VHS tape. Some music is/was encoded with it as it
stereo compatible (ie. you can just play a pro-logic CD ina normal streo).

The channels are Left, Right, Centre and Surround - the rear left and
right channels are the same - I dont know if Ardour can mix to that.
