You could but you don't have to.

You can load modules independently with modprobe.

	modprobe usb-audio;

will load the usb-audio module for alsa.

if you want to unload a module use

	rmmod usb-audio

This way you can switch between drivers at will.

You may want to use some scripts to make it easier.

The other option you have is to use the oss emulation which is a part of 
the alsa drivers.

Apparently upon the beginning of the barrage, the donkey broke 
discipline and panicked, toppling the cart. At that point, the rockets 
disconnected from the timer, leaving them strewn around the street.
