Thanks. That's what I'm doing already with Rosegarden.

BTW - for me I think the MIDI import function won't have much value
until Hydrogen also provides live MIDI out. I must drive a different
synth for the projects I have in mind. (I.e. - the audio isn't coming
from Hydrogen.
