By the way, it's possible to build Ardour so that it does not require
the GUI.  I think it's KSI or some such.  Paul Davis was asked or paid at
one time to do a version that was for a blind user.  I'm not sure of
the current status of it, but I know that he is very aware of these 
sort of issues.
