I just compiled a kernel with this very realtime-premmption patch 2
hours ago, but I used linux-2.6.12-rc2.tar.bz2 (from
/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/testing of your favourite kernel-org-mirror) and
patched it with the realtime-preemption-patch. Compilation worked fine
and it's running, but I haven't tested it thoroughly yet.
