Both of these should work.

A friend of mine recently discovered that the M-Audio Radium only seems
to be able to handle 11 note polyphony.  Sending a 12th note causes one
of the previous notes to be cut off.  He was able to reproduce this on
Linux and Windows so it's a hardware (firmware?) bug.
