I added

#!/usr/bin/env python
# -*- coding: latin-1 -*-

to the beginning, which made it run :-) There sometimes is a strange 
behaviour (sound off), must test more to se if I can figure out when it 
appears...

Besides that this makes me even more interresting in python/midi. Soooo 
flexible and powerful. Thanks for sharing!
