I have recently asked this question too. I would like to write
an effect specially tuned to create a good vocal sound. Clear
but spacious effect.

Dattorro's plate reverb is of Lexicon plate type. I would use
that for vocals. Is Tim Goetze's Versatile Plate Reverb an
implementation of Dattorro's? I have implemented it too if anyone
would like to have the code.
